Hi LG, a post is the same as an article. It does accept pay pal, google adsense, yahoo ads or whatever ads you want to use.
Since there is no profit sharing on the site, you get paid through your tracking codes which will have nothing to do with anyone other then yourself. Whatever the term are for affiliate services you use determines how and when you get paid.
Google pays out at the end of the next month after you have reached your payment threshold the previous month, same with Amazon but I don’t know about all the affiliate programs people use.
I am going to write up a tutorial to help new users get started using the HTML editing function.
It’s not like HP where you plug in your affiliate code and your ads automatically appear. The intention of the site is so the writers have freedom of which and what sources they want to use. Besides, if I did do a plug in feature then you would have to share your profits, not that I would be opposed but it would defeat the purpose.
So briefly, on the About page it says that you have to click on the html editor tab in your admin dashboard and click “no ads” to remove my ad codes from your post. A little code will appear in the script that says “no-ads” but with <> around it. Don’t remove that code.
I am a freelance writer who writes about just about anything that aparks my interest. My current profession is an Avon Independent Sales Representative. Other things that I am interested in are gardening, reading and sewing. Oh and of course the internet social networking sites such as Windows Live Spaces, FaceBook and Twitter to name a few.
